Black Samphire: an environmental folk horror movie

A group of Sussex filmmakers are "monstifying" water pollution by depicting the polluters and their damage through the lens of a folk-horror feature.

Silicon Gothic on Sky News being interviewed about Black Samphire.

By working with charities, activists and legislators, the team is making a creative film that blends activism and entertainment. This includes undertaking river and beach cleans while working with lawmakers to implement a 'Clean Water Act'.

The project includes Stephen Fry, James Murray (Masters of the Air, The Crown), Ishtar Currie Wilson (The First Omen, Lockwood & Co)

Black Samphire will be shooting in Sussex later this year. Please learn more about how you can help create a Sussex folk-horror feature film to engage large audiences with the UK's water pollution crisis at their Kickstarter.
