Accountability Is Key
If you’ve ever said:
“I just need to sit down and write,”
but didn’t…
you already know.
Accountability is the thing.
Not theory. Not a new app.
Not a screenwriting book you won’t finish.
It’s someone expecting words from you next Thursday.
It’s knowing you’ve got to show up.
It’s opening Zoom and seeing familiar faces,
all asking: “What have you been working on?”
Because when it’s just you, your laptop, and a vague plan...
life gets in the way.
But when you’ve got a deadline,
when someone’s reading,
when you’ve got to say something out loud...
You write.
Script to Habit is that hour.
It’s the perfect next step after Notepad to Script. Or the right place to be if you just want to keep writing—and need someone to hold you to it (with a little advice along the way).
One session a week. Six weeks.
No fluff. No PDFs. Just live accountability.
Real progress.
Tailored feedback.
And other writers pushing forward too.
It’s not fancy. But it works.
You want to keep writing?
Make it a habit.
We start Tomorrow at 6PM.
£99.
6 sessions.
One finished script closer to your goal.
Don’t Limit Yourself
by Calieb F. Thresher
If you’ve tasked yourself with writing a short script but get to the end and feel like you could keep going, then keep going!
There is never a right time to have the first draft of your first feature script other than as soon as possible. Some people like me have to go on a long winding journey to have finally gotten there, but if you feel like you can just jump straight in then do so.
If you write ten pages, then thirty, and feel like you could get to ninety pages, then do ninety pages. The story will be as long or as short as it has to be.
Don’t let overthinking consume you, especially on a first draft.
And remember: The film goes as fast as you read it off the page.
Film can be anything.
Thanks for taking the time to read this edition of the Network, we really appreciate your support.
Best wishes,
